The Life of Maureen
This tribute is for Maureen Lobley who was sadly taken from us on the 8th July 2021. Maureen passed away very peacefully on a warm sunny morning at home with Maureen’s 3 devoted daughters, Kim, Sharon & Julie at her side. Sadly, it was Dementia that finally took her away. Maureen is now reunited with her beloved husband Robert ‘Bobby’ who was suddenly taken from us in February 1992. Bobby & Maureen were married on the 2nd August 1958 at Saint Barnabas Church Bethnal Green. The following 8 years Bobby & Maureen brought three wonderful daughters into the world and loved them in the way that only a mum & dad can love their children. After their first daughter Kim was born, they moved from London to Rainham Kent where upon they were blessed with Sharon & Julie, Maureen was a fantastic mother to three daughters, grandmother to Seven grandchildren & great grandmother to ten great grandchildren & loved very much by them all. Maureen worked for many years at Rainham School for Girls where her endless caring nature was admired by the people she worked with & by the pupils that came & went over the years. There has been many a tale about Maureen & some of the things that she got up to from a child through to adulthood that should be told for all to see therefore, I am asking for any stories, messages photo’s & video’s to be added to this tribute to Maureen for all to enjoy & remember for years to come.

For those I love & those who loved me
When I have passed, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see, do & old friends to re-acquaint.
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with sad tears
We had so many good years, so be happy.
I gave you my love, your never guess how much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for all the love & kindness you have shown me
But now it’s time for me to make this journey alone.
So grieve for me, If grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by my trust.
